PMEI is a remarkable place because of the community of parents who show extraordinary care and concern for the school and its environment.

The Montessori Parents’ Association (MPA) is dedicated to building community, offering support, and enriching the lives of PMEI parents, staff and children through volunteerism, school activities, and community events. The MPA has many opportunities for parents to participate.  MPA meets once a month to keep abreast of current issues as well as to participate in decision making processes concerning upcoming events.  There are also various committees in which parents can become involved, such as: Sunshine Committee, Community Outreach and Peace Education, Yearbook Committee, and the annual Auction Fundraising Committee.
